NeuroActive Health & Fitness
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 11, 2026
1. Educational Purpose
NeuroActive website content, pain guides, movement programs, videos, written materials, exercises, and other digital resources are provided for educational and informational purposes.
Unless you are separately receiving individualized clinical care from Dr. Adam Bruene through an appropriate healthcare practice, NeuroActive materials are not individualized medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional healthcare advice.
The information provided through NeuroActive is not intended to replace evaluation or care from an appropriately licensed healthcare professional when such care is needed.
2. No Doctor-Patient Relationship
Visiting neuroactivefitness.com, purchasing a digital guide, participating in the NeuroActive Movement Program, sending an email, watching a video, or using other NeuroActive educational resources does not by itself create a doctor-patient relationship with Dr. Adam Bruene.
A clinical relationship may arise only through a separate professional healthcare arrangement, with appropriate intake, consent, evaluation, documentation, and other requirements applicable to that clinical setting.
3. Not for Emergencies
NeuroActive is not an emergency medical service and should not be used for emergency diagnosis or treatment.
If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency or a serious or rapidly worsening condition, seek immediate medical care through the appropriate emergency or healthcare services in your area.
4. Exercise and Movement Risks
Physical activity involves inherent risks. Exercises, movements, loading, mobility work, and other activities demonstrated or described through NeuroActive may cause soreness, aggravation of symptoms, falls, strains, sprains, or other injury in some individuals.
You are responsible for deciding whether participation is appropriate for you and for using reasonable judgment while performing any activity.
You should stop an activity and seek appropriate professional care when symptoms are severe, rapidly worsening, unusual, or concerning, or when you experience symptoms such as significant weakness, loss of function, severe neurological changes, or other signs that may require evaluation.
5. Individual Results Vary
Human bodies and musculoskeletal conditions vary. A movement or strategy that helps one person may not help another and may sometimes aggravate symptoms.
NeuroActive does not guarantee that any guide, exercise, program, strategy, or educational resource will eliminate pain, prevent injury, improve a particular condition, or produce any specific result.
Testimonials, patient stories, examples, or descriptions of individual experiences reflect those individuals' experiences and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that another person will experience the same result.
6. Digital Products and Access
NeuroActive may offer digital guides, programs, videos, applications, subscriptions, downloadable resources, or other digital products.
Access terms, duration, pricing, included content, and technical requirements may vary by product and may be described on the applicable sales or product page.
Digital products are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use unless expressly stated otherwise.
7. Purchases, Payments, and Third-Party Platforms
Some NeuroActive products may be purchased or delivered through third-party platforms. Payment information may therefore be collected and processed directly by those providers rather than by neuroactivefitness.com.
Purchases made through a third-party platform may also be subject to that provider's applicable payment, delivery, account, and platform terms.
8. Refunds
Refund eligibility for a digital product or program will be governed by the refund terms displayed at the time of purchase and, where applicable, by the policies of the third-party platform processing the transaction.
Because many digital products provide immediate access to downloadable or viewable content, certain purchases may be non-refundable once access or delivery has occurred, except where otherwise required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase.
9. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, NeuroActive website content, written materials, videos, exercise descriptions, graphics, guides, program structures, educational materials, trademarks, branding, and other original content are owned by or licensed to NeuroActive Health & Fitness and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing or accessing a NeuroActive product does not transfer ownership of the underlying content or intellectual property.
You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense, publicly post, share paid access credentials, create derivative commercial products from, or otherwise exploit NeuroActive content without prior written permission.
10. Personal Use and Account Security
Where access to a NeuroActive product or service requires an account, login, password, or other access credentials, those credentials are for the authorized user only unless expressly permitted otherwise.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the website or NeuroActive services, including by:
- Attempting unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or content.
- Copying or distributing paid materials without authorization.
- Using the website to transmit malicious code or interfere with operation.
- Misrepresenting NeuroActive materials or presenting them as your own.
- Using NeuroActive content for unlawful or infringing purposes.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
This website may contain links to independent third-party websites, healthcare practices, commerce platforms, scheduling systems, or other services.
NeuroActive is not responsible for the content, availability, security, privacy practices, or independent services of third parties merely because a link appears on this website.
13. Clinical Services Through Other Practices
Clinical care provided by Dr. Adam Bruene through Centre Physical Therapy or another healthcare practice is separate from your use of NeuroActive digital products and this website.
Such clinical services may be governed by separate agreements, consent forms, privacy notices, billing policies, professional standards, and healthcare laws applicable to that practice.
14. Website Availability and Changes
NeuroActive may modify, update, discontinue, replace, or reorganize website content, products, programs, features, pricing, or availability from time to time.
While reasonable efforts may be made to maintain website and product access, uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and NeuroActive educational products and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
NeuroActive does not warrant that the website, products, or educational materials will be appropriate for every person, achieve any particular outcome, or be continuously available or free from technical errors.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NeuroActive Health & Fitness and its owners, operators, affiliates, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the website or educational products.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless NeuroActive Health & Fitness from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person's rights, or unauthorized distribution of NeuroActive content.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
20. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically to reflect changes to NeuroActive products, services, business practices, technology, or applicable requirements.
The "Last updated" date at the top of this page may be revised when changes are made. Continued use of the website or applicable services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
